BULLYING HAS
Iuka school is committed to taking
action against bullying of any form. Bullying happens when
someone hurts or scares another person on purpose and the person being bullied
has a hard time defending himself or herself. Usually,
bullying happens over and over.
Types of Bullying:
- Punching,
shoving and other acts that hurt people physically
- Spreading
bad rumors about people
- Keeping
certain people out of a "group"
- Teasing
people in a mean way
- Getting
certain people to "gang up" on others
By taking action against
bullying, teachers, administrators, support staff, and parents will make a
significant difference in the lives of all students, and have a profoundly
positive impact on the climate of the school.
Don't be afraid to stand up against bullying! It is your right to have a safe school. If you, or someone you know, are being bullied, report it!
